PROVIDING ACCESS TO ELECTRICITY
The portable generator allows the village to have access to electricity during cloudy or rainy days when their solar lamps cannot be powered by the sun. This is crucial for family members who have medical needs such as asthma and need to use a nebulizer for treatment and relief.
SUPPORTING THE AETAS OF YANGIL VILLAGE

Lighter, longer-lasting and brighter solar lights make it possible for the Noveleta River Rangers to fish longer — leading to potentially higher yields and increase in income.

Mang Ronilo, has been carving for over 30 years. His shop and 7 employees were affected by the pandemic. Every woodcraft you buy supports the livelihoods of hardworking people like Mang Ranilo and his crew.

Meet the Mangyan Tribal community. Our wood crafts utilize driftwood gathered by this proud & indigenous group, often marginalized by society.

Noveleta is surrounded by coastal waters, making it vulnerable to flooding brought about by typhoons. Your purchase allows us to plant mangrove trees that act as barrier between the coast and the town, preventing erosion & reducing the force of waters.

Noveleta Fishermen were extremely grateful to receive 9 new fishing nets or their daily use. The portable generator allows them access to electricity for medical needs to power a nebulizer for those with asthma.

Solar Lights Donated!

In partnership with ISM’s One Million Lights, we donated solar lights (lasting up to 15 hours!) to the Noveleta River Rangers. Without electricity and relying on old construction headlights, the community is now able to fish longer and use the lights for everyday activities such as cooking, studying and just relaxing.
